Default 1998 Saturn SL1 loses all power

Hi there
My car suddenly loses all power. Radio, lights, no gas....
Garage has changed the ignition module, the ignition coil, removed the kill switch (? sorry, I'm not techo savy), changed the spark plugs and wiring, verified the battery, alternator, and basically combed over every inch of the car to find the problem. After removing the kill switch, everything was great for two weeks. Then it happened again. Yesterday it wouldn't start at all. Just sat there dead. Nothing at all. No noise, etc... after about 10 minutes, the radio came on for 2 seconds, then died again. Has anyone experienced this? I've checked the forums and most that has been suggested has been checked by the garage. They're stumped.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Tell us more about this "kill switch" thingy. Is that the stock key-operated switch on the steering column; or is that some aftermarket device to prevent theft or battery drain, or to provide positive power cut in event of an accident (like race cars are fitted with)?
