Default '01 L300 issues?

Just curious what issues people have had with their L300's - we have had:

oil cooler coolant leak (repaired)
water pump coolant leak (replaced water pump)
front power seat rail failure (replaced seat rail assy)
Alignment issues (installed alignment kit, replaced all 4 tires)
Door seal failure (replaced door seals - both sides)
Battery ruptured (replaced battery, insulator, etc.)
MAF sensor failure (replaced MAF and reprogrammed ECU)

Everything was done under warranty, without any questions. The car is has leather and ABS/traction control as options. We have around 28k on the odometer.

Are there any other "common" failures we have to look forward to? I have read about the steering rack, but that seems to be in the 2000's - we don't have the headliner or glovebox rattles, either... yet...

Overall, we are pretty happy with the car - it's my wife's daily driver and she loves it - starting to seriously consider the extended warranty, though...

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Welcome to the board! I have not had very many problems so far with my 2002 L200.

1) AC compressor replaced.
2) Electronic ignition control module replaced.
3) Intermediate steering shaft replaced.

That is it other than routine stuff like brakes, serpentine belt, plugs, etc...

I have about 202,500 miles on it now.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

2002 L300.

No problems other than a few rattles here and there.

Most of them are taken care of by the dealer once I figure out how to recreate them.

The only real engine/drivetrain issue ive had was one of the coolant hoses leaking .... but since a very small amount of fluid loss can trigger a red light, and warranty/tsb can take care of it, i wasnt partuclarly worried.

ive seen worse things happen to new cars.

Our two 2001/L300s have been relatively trouble free. All repairs have been done under warranty.

Both cars had installed alignment kit and replaced all tires
1 car had battery ruptured
1 car had MAF sensor failure
1 car had a broken ignition lock

No rattles or leaks.

2001 L300 SE

Trouble free so far, no rattles too.
The only complaint is too much brake dust on the front wheels after short driving.
