2000 SL2
Default 2000 SL2 with no-start situation, resolved. Now running rough.

Flooded my engine with water, cleared it out, cleaned plugs, drained and replaced oil. She's running with high rpms, (1500 while idling) and running rough while idling. A little bit of sputtering, seeming like she's going to die on me. The air intake filter was clogged with water, so I'm assuming there might be debris on the throttle valve, as well as other sensors attached/involved.

Assuming this is so, I am going to clean the associated parts as per Richpin's instructions. I'm thinking to clean the EGR valve out as well. The thing I'm not all to familiar with is the location of the TB on my 2000 SL2 MPFI engine. Is it at the very end of the air intake duct? I'm going to try to take pics and put them up, very soon. But, would appreciate any input asap.

I believe I just answered my own question. I didn't notice the the throttle cable coming up onto the switch earlier. Can't post pics directly, apparently.... :/

Try the "attachment" feature; it's the "paper clip" icon above the editor window.

Cleaned up the IAC, as well as the throttle body/butterfly. It was still running high, but took readings in the 20K range on the IAC pins, and they read at 0.040. Replaced that, and she's running quieter than a cat's backend.
