No, for two reasons:

1. It accomplishes nothing.

2. The badges look better on my Astra.

Although mailing GM the badges is awesome, I think I like even better the idea of having new fridge magnets

Obama ought to start a "Cash for Saturns" program.

Trade in your Saturn for a car from a company that stands by their customers.

GM could easily keep Saturn afloat a few more years selling their re-badged GM cars until a better solution can be found.

I have a better idea. Why not save the badges (maybe make some nice fridge magnets), send GM a check for the $0.44 + additional postage for the weight of the badges! Because sending a check for < $1.00 would capture more attention and mean more in the halls of the Ren Center than sending back two "GM Mark of Excellence" badges that never meant anything anyway.

Breaking news from GM:

"Confirmed reports of up to 12 metallic GM badges have forced GM executives to rethink their strategies for the ailing company. A source inside the company said that the previous decision to get unload the Saturn brand has be retracted. In light of 12 metallic GM badges, which owners have removed from their cars and mailed in to GM headquarters, the company realized what an error it would have been to get rid of the company which clearly stirs up so much passion in its owners."
