2001 L-Series 2.2L Sedan
Default where to buy less needed parts on line

I have a 2001 L100 with a beige dash, and I broke the little triangular vent cover on the passenger side. I would prefer buying on line rather than driving around to various junk yards and parts stores to show them the part. I do not have a part number but have a photo at

Does anyone have a part number and or place on line I can order a replacement?

thanks in advance

joe

on edit: the system does not allow me to attach photos but viewing my profile shows the vent cover I am looking to buy

thanks again

If the information I'm looking at is correct, this is known as a Left Side Defrost Vent, which was available in black for your model year. There is one for sale on eBay at the moment, and they are likely still available via dealers for less than $6. The listing for neutral color is applicable for the 03-05 model years.

Thanks, the one on Ebay is for the left side and I need the right side, after I got a temporary Ebay account and purchased it I took a closer look and it is just the opposite of the one I need.

The part is the same on both the driver and passenger sides. It's likely the only colors still available through Saturn are Black for 2000-05 and Neutral for 2003-5, but you could get lucky and still find someone with old inventory. Here are all the part numbers/colors for these parts for all years.

Thanks again, now that I have parts numbers I may do better. It is also good to know the right and left side are the same.

The part I bought via Ebay came today, it doesn't fit, the angled side is just the opposite of the right side vent.

On further checking, apparently some have different parts for each side, per GM Parts Center and a second diagram I've now seen. They want your VIN for an exact match. You can reach them at 800-313-7380. The good news is the list is only about $6. Good luck.
