Engine coolant light flickers

My 1995 sl2 engine coolant light flickers. There are no leaks and plenty of antifreeze. Any ideas what to check first.

Well it happens to me , you need only a little bit to top it off, and it should be fine, it happenned to me on my 1995 sw2 and 1997 sc2 , so check your coolant level and make sure it is really full if not get your water pump check.

Define "plenty of antifreeze" FULL cold on an "S" series Saturn coolant resevoir tank is right up to the seam or about 3/4 inch below the very top. Bet you'll find it's not that full...

It also could be doing this beacause you need to flush you coolant. Mine stars to do it every 6 months and i just flush and its done with.
