ah, cool... what I would've done was got a 3-in-1 outlet pod and triggered it off a relay, as well as re-wire the stock adaptor but hey to each his own.. you also managed to take the yellow lead off your aftermarket radio and put it on its own line, right?
I'm only running a Sony head unit rated at 200 watts maximum, no external amplifier. I very rarely play the music loud so I figure it'll be OK. I'm open to feedback and suggestions if this setup will still overload the F-5 circuit.

Busy weekend for me:

On the 2000 SL - Replaced TPS (High idle issue); Cleaned Throttle body; Replaced ECTS and thermostat; flush and fill coolant - hose flush and ran with cleaner, distilled water rinse, fresh coolant and distilled (first for me); new top motor mount; new trans mount; new wipers; and washed the dirt road off.

On the 1999 SW - New wipers all around and new arms on the front that aren't rusty.

Oil changes are coming up, still need new wires for the SL, and it looks like the front brake pads and rotors are coming due on the SL.

...
Thanks! David

Busy day for me also. Replacing the front hubs and bearings(both sides),putting new front sping cushons on and reindexing them the correct way(sqeaking), new calipers, rotors and brake pads. Getiing my code scanner in today, so I'm going to read the live data to find out what the temp on the car is.

Yesterday, loosened the lower radiator hose (again), tried to get the hose on better, and retightened. Had a slow leak under pressure there after the radiator replacement, thought I had it licked once but started leaking again. On the plus side, maybe a mouse will drink it and die

Installed a new coolant resevoir.

Blasted low coolant lights kept coming on. Sensor inside wasn't working.

Go to junkyard and pull off a resevoir. That one didn't work.

When taking a second resevoir some prat shreeded the nut. Ended up having to shear off the head using a 4in wrench. Damn idiots.

Still for $4.54 instead of $45 new it was worth the damaged knuckles.

Yup, not much snow where I'm at. I live approximately one mile from the beach. If I spot any oxidation starting, I nip it in the bud before it gets worse. The engine cradle, door sills are rust free. I haven't had to wrestle with any frozen nuts or bolts when I worked on the car. When I changed the LCAs, the bolt at the cradle connection came out very easily.

OK, now you're just braggin'

My wife kinda wants to live on the islands when I retire, but she's fair-skinned and prone to sunburns/skin cancer. But where ever we decide... snow won't be part of the equation

checked the lower radiator hose... think I got the small leak stopped.

Took both of mine for their weekly drive up the road and back(4-5 kms). Sportsman class car got a simulated 1/4 mile pass and some hard braking and the other one was just driven normally. Both of them are back in the garage now and our newest one will not see the light of day again until it's sitting on the Super/Gas chassis. If I'm carefull during the stripping process we'll have a ton of spare parts for the Sportsman class car.

Relieved frustration by taking a hammer to the left rear quarter panel.

Pigs ear to take off specially when one of the main bolts is under the trunk lid and the lid is welded shut.

Then front end of the quarter panel the rivets can only be accessed if the door is open. But it too is welded shut.

In the end got the panel off but I think there's going to be a lot of riveting going on to re-install the new panel.

Acting on my paranoia, I bought bright LEDs for the

High Stop Light and Stop/Running Lights for my SC2
and
High Stop Light for my dad's SW2

Thanks to Madness10 for pointing out superbrightleds DOT com

I went with their "recomended" bulbs. Hope they are not too bright and cause rage in dim drivers.

If you can wait a while, I can let you know if they are too bright. (Think exiting some big event where you're constantly blinding the driver behind you....if you care about those things)

The last trip I took, I had a pickup hit the brakes at the last second. He had my full attention. Getting hit when you're 200 miles from home can be a hassle.

Everybody keep in mind I have a gray car. Not the brightest color for visibility. Brighter lights might break the other driver's trance (If I can't figure out how to mount a flare launcher, that is)

I remember being in a company van on the expressway. The guy driving fumbled for the 4-way flasher button when traffic did a sudden brake check and stop.
I thought, "what a pansey"
