Default Which pag to use?

I am putting pag oil in my saturn vue 2006 3.5l fwd ac system but i cant find which pag to use. Im getting mixed answers, i keep finding either pag 46 or pag 100. Which one does my vehicle use?

Here's one site listing compressor manufacturer and recommended pag oil viscosity; https://crxsi.com/info/air-condition...TION-CHART.htm

Here's another site; http://www.compressor-intl.com/HTML/Sat06.htm

Saturn (and maybe GM) does an excellent job of conveniently leaving out pertinent information like pag oil viscosity by only listing a GM part number....... The only thing they allude to in service manuals is using pag oil for r134a systems.

When i pull up oem ac compressors i keep getting pag 46, even the auto part stores are saying pag 46. That second link i was just given says to use pag 100. Im still figuring out which one is correct.

I understand your frustrations and neglected to mention one last suggestion. Call GM and ask. Be sure to mention your model year, engine, and compressor make and serial number. The compressor should have a data plate, underhood labeling may have info and owner's manual info when asking GM (local or 800 number). Hopefully you'll have an answer.
