Default Floor Mats

Has anyone out there put in clear hard rubber floor mats over the factory mats? I have the tan interior and it seems like the mats might get dirty really quick. I'm just worried it might make my car look like my grandmas house (you know, with the plastic coverings on the couch, and the plastic runners in the hallway)

If anyone did can you suggest a place to buy these?

I bought mine at Sams club as well for $20. I got the Tan mats (for my tan interior) and they don't look all that bad. You have to trim them down a bit, but they have pre-defined cut lines to guide you.

2 fronts and 2 backs. And they are really good quality!

I bought these off ebay.

They are very high quality and cut to fit over the mats, even the tricky 2nd row.
I think they look great. We have gray interior, and we didn't want anything to take away from the interior.

We used Jeep floor liner on our jeep instead of floor mats...also used it on my Saturn. I think it's better because it's spill-proof. Floormats aren't so reliable that it gets easily damaged while floor liners protects the carpet of the car.

Farmasis,

I was looking at buying floor liners from weathertech. they are specially made for the vehicle but are a bit steeper then the ones quoted on here. But I have heard they are well worth the money. besides what is another $150 after paying $35k for the car. Here is the link if interested.
