Default rattling noise

ok its a 95 sc2 with 77,000 on it. I just got it back from the dealer about two weeks ago, I had the rings and such replaced for oil consumption. Now when ever the car is started up cold and the cluch is released there is a rattle the come from the rt ft somewhere. it happens if i let of the gass to slow down or get back on it to speed up with the flow of traffic. It happens only for an instent, but it is in all 5 gears, regardless of RPMs. when the car reaches operating temp. the noise stop. I'm taking it back hopefully on wed. but any suggestions would help.
thank you

read my post....re: rattling noise...(SilverPlumGirl) Dec 2/00

does it sound like the same problem????

If not ... I did have a weird springy-rattling..boinging noise in my
car and they replaced the "control assembly" and the "Glove Box Latch Assy"

It was coming some where from the front dash area...

Hope this helps

It could the top engine mount. It's a cheap and easy fix. You can do it yourself in about 1/2 hour.

I don't think its a mount because then it would do it in nuteral, wouldn't it? it only hapens when it is in gear. It almost sounds as if something in the drive train is loose and then once the car is warm and at operating temp, it gets tight again.

Since you just had major engine work done, the dealer may have left something loose. Why waste your time on it. They should certainly make this right on service warranty.

I have the EXACT same problem. I can't figure it out and it was after I had service from the dealer. It's more apparent when I shift in the lower gears, like something is shakes.
Where you able to get it fixed, figure it out?
