Default Rear windows don't go down all the way...

Back windows of my '96 SL2 only go down 2/3rds of the way...they've been like that for 5+ years...any ideas?

Yours and every other S-series, and most sedans ever built for that matter. You ever seen the back windows on a Neon? They roll down like 2 inches.

You ever owned another car? I don't know whay, but it's standard that most sedan rear windows don't go all the way down. Very few do.

Yes, its normal for the Saturn windows to do that. Its to help restrain things/children/pets/whores

Underneath a car

LMAO i got a funny story to tel you guys. (sorry for the hijack)

There was this kid from UTI who came with his friend to our auto shop to see the teacher. He saw me washing my engine parts, but saw the 350 8-cyl and camaro tranny connected to it on a stand next to my car. He thought i was swapping the V8 in there! xD. On top of that, he asked me where the other half of my piston was *the saturn pistons are small compared to chevy 8-cyl* and i told him that i spun the bearings on the rod journals. I showed him the chunk missing from the #3 journal and the deep scouring on the #4 journal. He told me that if i gave him an hour, he could have it buffed out with a scotch brite pad and it'll be completly true. I told him, B.S. That thing needs at least a .030 regrind and the bearing size only goes to .020 on the crank max without custom made ones. He said "no i'm serious, i've done it before" so i picked up the crank and gave it to him. He put it back on the stand and said "i dont want this, you do it yourself" so i put it in the back room with all the other crap. He's trying to tell me that i have to get everything extremly clean, i gotta get new pistons, i gotta get my block bored out and everything. Everything this kid was saying was BS and i dont know if he was mentally unstable or not... kinda hilarious.

not having the rear windows roll all the way down is a kludge. they could design the inside of the door to make room, but they don't and call it a so-called safety feature. my cars (Mustang, SC, SC2, SC2) are all coupes so they don't have moving rear windows.
