2008 AURA XE
Default Taking her in...

I have an appointment on Thursday to take my Aura in to fix a couple of interior issues. First, the driver's seat cushion has torn and separated from the plastic molding, where the controls are. So, when I sit in the seat, there's a nice sized gap there showing wires and stuff. Also, the A Pillar piece on the driver's side has come loose. I snapped it back in place a couple of times but it keeps coming out. I didn't expect to see these kinds of issues with a car that I've only had since February. I looked at my wife's G6 A pillar and seats and her's is better constructed with different materials. I guess GM did this to save money but the price points of the Aura and G6 are almost identical.

2014 Chevy Malibu LTZ, Black (wife's ride)

Then:
2008 Saturn Aura XE, 3.5L V6 (Traded in for Impala)
2011 Chevy Cruze 1LT, Gold Mist Metallic (wife's old ride)

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

It;s those darn snap clips. Sometimes they just don't hold. The A-pillar trim is also tethered. I thought that to be odd and a PIA.

Jinx? I don't know about that..lol. I took her in and they ordered parts and sent me on my way. Hopefully, they'll take care of everything this week.
