Question Speaker Installation for 1st Gen SL2

I'm replacing my blown speakers in my car and put in some pioneer 3-ways up front and they have an outer notch for the 'oversize' fittings GM cars. But I have some Kenwoods that i originally wanted put up front and they're not wide enough to fit. I'm going to put them in the rear and wanted to know if there's an adapter plate out there or will there not be any fitting issues in the rear like up front??

Thanks in Advance.
