Default Surge Tank for an Ion

Let me preface this by saying I've just about exhausted my google search and searching through these forums and seem to have had no luck.

I have an 04 Saturn Ion 3 and I can not, for the life of me, find out where to find a replacement coolant surge tank. I'm having the lovely "coolant" warning show up every time I turn the car on and it's getting old. After a nice diagnostic, I was told the float was stuck in the coolant tank. Upon further sleuthing, I'm lead to believe that the tank needs to be replaced in order to fix the sensor, but I have had no luck finding what part this is or where to order it from on the internet. So I turn to you, my fellow Saturn owners and enthusiasts, and beg for your help. I am at your mercy and this annoying warning is bringing my harsh feelings towards my once beloved vehicle. I hope to reconcile this, but it'll take some work (and a new surge tank).

Thank you in advance for your help, even if it's pointing out a thread I posisbly overlooked.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

It never really dawned on me to hit up the dealership. I guess I could do that. I just didn't know if there would be a website or not to make it easier. I guess human interaction wouldn't hurt a little. Thanks!

2003 ION-3 Sedan
Default Re: Surge Tank for an Ion

Just picked up an "ACDelco 10368831 Radiator Tank Assembly" at Amazon to replace my Tank/Sensor. Which with free shipping (and an Amazon Gift Card) was cheaper then via RockAuto.com (Which cost more after shipping)as someone else had recently suggested.

I'm currently in the process of tracking down proper procedure for replacing the tank and doing a drain/fill of the coolant system. (Was hoping somebody had done a Video and/or highlighted the specific bolts to remove the Fuse Block so as to allow the lifting off the Tank.

Since Photos are finally back up... might just have to post some Pics if I don't find anything before the Tank arrives next week.
