Did you find the source of the leak Ecomike? Was it something with those rocker panels? I have the same issue right now. Getting damp/wet floors on driver and passenger front.

Drivers side never had an issue. Passenger side started out as the intake air gasket that seals to the hood when the hood closes, near the top of the firewall passenger side. The rail was wide open, not the issue after all, but under the dash on the passenger side wall in front of the door is a huge square flat rubber plug that was getting wet from heavy rain (think it was from the antenna hole in the fender which I plug with a plastic trash bag) and no longer making a perfect seal with the vertical wall, It is partly covered at the bottom by a plastic trim and carpet. It was letting water collect under the rug. I plan to silicone seal the flat/square plug flange like thingy to side wall with a little silicone sealant in place and call it fixed finally. It is about 6" by 6", black. I will try and share a photo when I get time.

So, who would have thought or guessed:no radio in the car or just no antenna?
Like this when you got it, or did you remove the antenna?
Why not just put an antenna back in the hole and naturally plug the cavity??

It still has the OEM stock antenna, and yes it has a radio. It is attached IIRC to the inner fender area, and goes though an open large ( > 1" maybe) outer fender hole, that looks like an stock OEM hole. It has not been modified in any way and was leak free for the first 8 years we owned it. The water that gets in that hole seems to go into the rocker drain area as it passes that plug I described. The water was getting past the plug, on top of the plug and leaking into the car as the plug was no longer a perfect seal. The plug is about 4" by 4" 17 year old rubber. Using a free plastic grocery bag we wrapped the antenna hole and sealed the hole to see if that stopped the source of the water, and it did. 100% dry floor after the rain events, with out fixing/sealing the plug yet.

Thanks, I'd like to see a picture of what your talking about to steer me in the right direction. We got a ton of more rain coming this week.

I found what you were talking about ecomike. These plates/oval holes are on both sides. I removed and pumped a crapload of silicone around the edges of the ovals. Iíve now covered all my bases but the doors. Which seem fine. I also siliconed around the antenna just for the heck of it. Not sure where else it could possibly be leaking.
