Default 92 SL1 Engine R&R question

Last night I was working on disconnecting everything to allow me to pull the engine and transmission.

I had a thought while looking at the wiring harness going to the back side of the engine attaching to the alternator and starter as well as a few other points.

Is it possible to pull the engine up out of the car without disconnecting the wiring harness from the back side. Of course you would want to be careful to not pull on the harness while lifting the engine. But if this is possible or even done usually, then that would make getting to the starter and alternator much easier since the engine would be sitting over the radiator at that point and the harness would be very accessible from there.

Any thoughts on this??
