Default WTB - 1999 Double Cam exhaust manifold

Just purchased a 1999 model engine ( double over-head Cam ) to replace my daughters engine in her 1996 SL-2.
The new engine came without the exhaust manifold and the bolt pattern is different on the 1996 manifold.

e-mail me at dstaley@searay.com - shipping zip code 37803
Maryville, TN

You have a PM.

I have one off my old 99 DOHC. Bought the car for $500 because the daughter of a family friend thought they could run without oil.

just a thought, the manifold flange at the downpipe changes on several years. the pattern is the same but the flange is "clocked" differently for different years, so if 96 and 99 are different you may have some problems mating the manifold to your 96 downpipe/cat. also i think 99 had a pre-cat on the manifold,96 does not. maybe someone else has done this swap and can give some guidance.

I sold Doc the manifold off my 99 DOHC that I just pulled. It's already on it's way. No pre-cat on the 99, but there could be an issue with the downpipe. Hopefully, he will let us know how the swap goes.
