Just curious How many "Saturnfans" have purchased a Relay?
Without getting into a long winded rant, could you briefly point out the highs and lows of Relay ownership. Any rants, feel free to direct us to the appropriate thread ![]() Thanks. Brad |

We bought our Relay in January. I really do love it -- I like the look and it drives well, etc. We're also happy to be back as part of the 'Saturn family' - we had Saturn cars years ago but 'out-grew' Saturn until the Relay.
It's not perfect -- I have the radio that cuts out (will be taking it in to be fixed when there's time) and I miss a little of the storage-space I used to have (but I have a van before...not a mini-van). But -- but even these little things aren't enough to ever make me regret getting my Relay. ![]() |

Also bought our Relay 2 in January.
Highs: Just about everything. Still amazed at how solid and refined it feels. Especially like the interior and though some might think the exterior is ugly I find it very unique. Lows: Nothing really, I'm still getting used to the gas milage. We get just a little over 18 in town and that's with the a/c on all of the time. My daily driver is a 96 SL2 that gets 27/28 in town. Overall a great vehicle that meets all of our needs... Patrick |

Well it looks like we'll be getting our Relay within a few days.
Just ironing out a few of the financial issues. The Relay we have on hold for us is a Silver pearl Relay 2 with grey interior. With the few options being...Rear Air conditioning, 17" Alloy wheels, power drivers seat and Roof rail mounted lifestyle overheadstorage bin - inc: CD/ DVD case, first aid kit. Why am I excited about this? It's a van! ![]() |

I just got my Relay 3 on Friday and I love it so far! We got the power package as the only extra and that is a definite must!
I have no problems with my car yet, I love to drive it, love how "high" I feel and I have had people tell me both that it looks like an SUV and/or a minivan (the SUV comment makes me happier!). I love the look of it and like that it is different. My husband and I have yet to see another Relay on the road here, so I'm happy to be showing off a new vehicle to the world! Jackie |

Picked up our Relay today!
I snapped 2 quick pictures just as we got home before the sun went down. They're in my gallery. I'll take a couple more tomorrow. |

Front and rear Air conditioning. Alloy Wheels. Power drivers seat. The CD/1st aid kit overhead bins. Nothing extravagant, but only the rear air/heating was important to us. I would have ditched the power seat if there was an ideally equipped Relay in our area. The DVD would have been nice to have, but dealers seem to be hesitant to order it unless it's a presold vehicle built for a customer. |

Am I right in asusming the Relays are a dud in terms of sales?
I see quite a few 1st and 2nd gen S-series cars, some L-series here and there, and VUEs and IONs all the time but I've honestly never seen a Relay on the road...or maybe their look isn't as distinct as the other Saturns? Damn those non-polymer panel cars! |

The S-Series' were made for 12 years, the L was an OK seller, and VUE's and ION's are pretty good sellers, but the Relay hasn't even been out for a year. ![]() I'd say if the Chevy, Pontiac, and Buick versions sell about as well as the average sales of the previous versions (Buick representing Olds), and then on top of that there are Relay sales, it could be considered a success.

How'd you get alloys on a Relay 2? Is this a Canadian vehicle? |

Duh....never mind....if you don't have standard DVD then it is a Canadian vehicle. They must offer optional alloys on the Relay 2 up North! |

Not to mention, his profile says he's in British Columbia, a Canadian province.
