Clacking sound

Sounds fine in idle, when I speed up, I hear a clacking sound coming from what seems to be the alternator area. I hold my hand to the valve cover and can't seem to attach the sound to any vibration in particular.

When RPM's go up, so does frequency of clacking.

This is all in neutral, with me controlling the throttle at the TB.

Any hints as to where I should go from here?

Inspect the serpentine belt. Mine was kinda old and the rubber part of it that wraps around the pulleys had a little area where the rubber chipped off and made a sound every time it went over a pulley, so that would be the first thing to check.

Pull the serpentine belt off and run the car briefly to verify the sound is gone. Turn the pulleys by hand to see if any are binding. To me this sounds like a tensioner problem though.
