1995 SL2
Default Replacing my '92 SL2.....

Well the time has come for me to replace my '92 SL2 with 134k miles with something else. The car has served me well for the year that I've owned it. It's been a good car to me and had power windows, locks, and tear drop wheels. It was white with a few scratches here and there but would always look brand new after a wash. It was my first car and i absolutely loved it. But alas the car had to be replaced.

I'm going to be selling it soon.

Anyways the car thats replacing my '92 SL2 is none other then a '95 SL2. No I wasn't going to get anything else, I just wanted to build up suspense .

Picked up the car from the newspaper today for $375! It still runs, lady said it needs a brake job and a new transmission. Transmission shifts fine (autotragic) so we think it needs an oil change and new filter. The engine is misfiring as well so we're thinking new plugs and cables. EGR Valve needs to be replaced and so does the ABS Control module, unless the ABS shuts down because of the check engine light.

The car also has traction control and the best thing of all CUP HOLDERS. I love the newer interior, the cup holders and manual belts are a god send! The car is teal with cloth interior and alloy wheels I think the wheels are called tear drops but the newer ones.

Anyways the car feels a lot peppier then mine, throttle response is much better and I love it already. It only has 108k miles on it and the body is still in good condition.

This is going to be my second Saturn I hope my third one will be a Redline or a QC3.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Its in excellent shape but the '95 has Airbags, ABS, and TCS, which should lower the insurance slightly.

Looks nice. I love those 'sawtooth' wheels. They look so good on the first-gen SLs.

take the header off your 92 and put it on the 95. When I get a new Sx2 I'm going to keep my car for spare parts.

My first Saturn I bought for $30

Nice looking cars.... it's amazing how well the plastic panels hold up and how new even an older car can look...shame for you to be letting go of that lil' white one.

Yea I loved the white, after a nice wash it still looks new, gotta love plastic. But I can't afford to keep both cars so the oldest one has to go.

Maybe I'll trade up to an SC2 next

Congrats on the newer SL2, especially at that price. I don't know what kind of rubber your '92 has, but you may want to swap tires--the right front of the '95 at least is done.
