'Hacking' 2008 Navigation System
I just purchased a brand spankin' new 2008 Saturn VUE XR. I'm in love.
The tinker/hacker in me really wants to modify the navigation system, maybe hack the rom and make it more visually appealing. (Custom background images, custom sounds and such)
Does anyone have any experience doing this? Can it be done? Are there any ways to interface into the navigation system itself? USB, LAN? Anything? If the thing has some sort of serial port and hard drive, it can be hacked
I wouldn't dare take anything apart without knowing if it could be done in the first place. I would love to know if any of you have tried yet.
I've been lurking for a couple weeks now, this is my very first post, please let me know if I need to post this elsewhere.
