Oh, and rolled 69,400k miles
Have a look at your suspension bushings. Mine were absolute toast after 258,000 km (161,000 miles) and replaced most of them with a set from Energy Suspension. Previously, the struts and springs were replaced with KYB GR2 struts and H&R Sport springs. Corners are much more fun now and according to Torque Pro, I took an on-ramp with a 30 km/h (18 mph) speed limit at 60 km/h (35 mph)... but not without some slight protesting from the front tire. Velocity not recommended, but very fun. Suspension upgrades highly recommended though.

Before and after posted below.

Just sharing -

Because I am slowly prepping my car to be wrapped, I decided to attempt to repair 2 small hairline cracks in both front fenders. I researched ways to do this repair and decided to just try a simple way of reinforcing the crack using full grain leather and Gorilla Super Glue Gel.

I took off the roof drip moldings so I could get my hand behind the upper corner of each fender. Then after cleaning the area behind each crack (with alcohol) all I did was place a leather patch (about a 1.5" x 3" piece), covered in the gel, behind the crack.

It is now solid rather than having any movement and since it will be wrapped, it will be less noticeable.

Finally visited my local salvage yard to see what I could find.... One SL1, thankfully 3rd gen, but the window switch I needed was broken. I bought it any way. Maybe I can build one between it and my original.... $5. I also got a decent spare tire.... a 14 inch steel rim with a decent tire treadwise for $20. Unfortunately all the rims touched curbs, but it'll work for a spare, as I had nothing, and drive 100 miles a day.

Also found some 8-lug Chevy stuff.... never seen it there before.

Oh the SL1 looked better then my SL2 with the exception of some front end damage... until I tried pulling that rear wheel I bought.... rear suspension no longer fully attached!!!

Installed some 3D printed cell phone holders

The lack of storage in the interior is a little irritating and I was always just throwing my phone in the passenger seat. Sure that works, but when the miss's and I are in the car I can't exactly do that lol. So I whipped these up and they're stuck on with some heavy duty adhesive velcro strips.

Had to make the passenger one for the wife a little larger since she has an Otterbox case on her's. On that design I had the idea to throw a Saturn logo on it The first rendition I designed for my phone without the case didn't have the logo...

They can also double as charger cable holders when not in use

That's a door lock switch. I'm talking about the power window switches in the console. I tested it better today.... didn't want to do it last night and risk having windows stuck down.

Both fronts work fine... they're a little wobbly at first, but that's not the switch...cheap (or worn) OEM mechanisms? The rears don't work.... driver's rear must be mechanical as it tries. Passenger side doesn't do anything, but it's still taken apart so maybe the switch mounted on the door needs to be in place. I'm glad to have working front windows again... I think it's been 3 weeks!

I tried cleaning the plastic piece that the window and mirror switches snap into and it looks horrible. I'm going to paint it. I've got some satin moss green plastic paint left over from another project. It won't match anything, but green is my favorite color, so I don't care.

How did you get mileage that high??? The best I've gotten is 35... once, and that's all highway with cruise on, no AC (it's broken).

I owned my '93 SL2 for 9 years. I am one with the S-series power module.

I do not tailgate and anticipate well to minimize the need for braking. I often shift to 3 to trim speed when needed.
