Default 2001 SC2 Ventilation Fan

The vent fan on my 2001 SC2 suddenly stopped working. Problem with the switch, or? Any help appreciated.

Quite easy to get at. Pass side under dash. 3 bolts hold it in. 1 connector. Check fuse first. Pull connector and check for voltages at different speed settings. If no voltage it's the switch. If you get voltages - problem is motor.

Easy peasy.

To see if the blower motor works connect it directly to power... I use my battery charger, but it's an older one. The newer "smart" chargers probably won't work for this... I think they have to sense a voltage before they turn on.

I'm not sure what the Saturn has for a connector on the blower. On my truck it's just spade connectors, which are easy to connect to. If you've got a plug, you may need to try a little harder to make the connections to 12v for testing.
