Default a few pics from my trip to Canada

Hi there everyone. Since I don't have many friends IRL to share these with, I figured maybe you guys would like a look.

Here are a few pics from my recent trip to Canada:

Hitting 110,010 miles (cause I missed the 110,000 mark lol):

At a random gas station in MI:

What's that?:

We had a great time. It's my in-laws cabin up in the woods. We fish and just relax. Weather was great, poutine delicious, and Canadians friendly.

Looked spooky being the only vehicle at a gas station. Reminded me of a screne from the movie Monsters (2010)... The trees remind me of Mississippi...

Uh, yeah. It doesn't help that we saw a sign several miles south. It was one of those construction type signs that flashes two words then another two words. It said "fugitive loose" "report if seen" No joking.

Hmmm, I dont' recall. All of them that we got were between 25 and 28 inches. Most people turn their noses up but we eat em! If you know how to filet them (my father in law does, not me) without getting bones, they're really really god eating.

Coincidentally, I just hit the 111,111 mark. I wasn't able to snap a photo at the time. However, I did get this one yesterday. Mine is on the left side.

NP are good eating if deep fried in batter. If you pan fry them/BBQ them then they have a pretty strong fishy taste. They are bony and tricky to fillet though that's for sure!

Be careful you don't get into trouble with your possession/size limits though. If there were not more than 4 of you with licenses then the MNR 'could' cause you some greif (if they catch you). See top of page #2 of the hyperlink.

I attached the size/possession limits for that area: http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodcons...nr_e001330.pdf

awesome!

We hit 100K on our way to Canada last year so it was ironic that we were hitting 110K almost 1 year later.

Next year 120K?

Yes, you are right. Fortunately, there were enough licensed folks there (sport license, not conservation) to account for the fish.

We're always really good about our limits and mindful of the environment around us. We never have more than 2-per-licensed-person.

And yes, we deep fry them in batter
