uh..

it's not a good idea to post your e-mail and/or cellphone number out in the open (unless you want some unwanted evils in your inbox, or someone here to harass you over the phone, or something) on the internet. All responses will be board only.

(Phone number has only nine digits anyway; just don't tell her/him that....)

Moreover, we have a Classifieds section, where posts like this belong.

There should be a craigslist for your region. Prepare to only get a couple hundred bucks.

I live just down the road from you (I am about 30 miles away just down the interstate)

So any of you Saturn experts:

What parts from a 93 SL2 are compatible with a 96 Saturn SL2 ?

The ones I would have the more interest in are:

- Alternator ?
- Seats ?
- hand rest which goes in the middle between front seats ?
- wheels (I need 15 inch steel ones) ?

Are any of these parts compatible ?

What other parts also are compatible with a 96 SL2 ?

What about the engine itself ?

Is the head or block compatible ?

Do you have a warm spot to work in (ie. garage) ?

The weather in our area is going to frigid for weeks.

Some who have parted out cars before may want to offer some advice on what brings the most money quickly ?

I was thinking, pulling the engine and tranny and selling them separate would bring a few dollars. Also most used engines are sold just with the bare necessities (block, head, manifolds) and the stuff like the starter, sensors, etc. can be pulled.

Do the PCM's sell for much ? (is there are market)

I am not interested in the engine or tranny, but a bunch of other stuff will fit my 96 SL2 and for the right price I'll be interested.

I think the seat question is answered around post 75 or so at the swap sticky on the tech forum
http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88699

all the s-series wheels will interchange, same bolt pattern, offset and bore

I'm pretty sure the console between the seats is different between his first gen and your second gen.
