Heart Teaser Picture - Astra with G6 rims

I got the rims off eBay a few weeks ago to mount the snows from my 330ci on. Well, I didnt want to make the same mistake i just made with the M3 - I bought a set of 16" BMW rims (car came with 17" rims but people have run 16s on the car) mounted my R compounds from the 951 and found out i need a spacer for the front. And nobody can give me a solid answer as to how thick a spacer.

So i decided to try a G6 rim on the car before i dismount and mount the winter tires.

So, without any further ado, here is a picture of an Astra with a G6 rim.

Thats not it. That's the car the day after i got it in june.

Thats it. Told you it was a teaser.
I bought the TPMS parts and will mount the rubber in a few months.

I got a deal on the wheels. They were advertised as grand prix/grand am wheels. I found them when I searched 5x110 instead of cobalt or astra wheel.

Dont know why the taillight picture was part of the album. But in case you were interested, that is what a taillight from an 89 951S qith 49K original miles is supposed to look like. Notice the putty dripping? That means the taillight was probably never removed from the housing, which means the quarter is probably original, which means.. All in all it meant i found the virgin prom queen of 944s. Only to have a kamikazee civic hit the nose of it the three days after i registered it.

AARGH! Stupid me!!
I should have managed attachments instead of adding a picture in the original post. 15 minutes are probably up so i cant edit it.

here ya go

Im having no luck. What do you think of the new leather armrest cover i installed in the M3? Im not sure which picture number that is. busy little bee ive been huh?

i red did the cover because i didnt realize bmw had the edge cut so the material lays flat. i put the material on the side thinking the top should be flat. should have studied the foam a little more before doing the job.

Not sure on these... I'd have to see it with the tire on and at normal position. These should significantly wider than stock - any issue with rubbing?
