2008 AURA XR
Default Eibach Springs - ION 2 2005

Newbie on this board - just found it.

Anybody done this?
I just traded a SL2 for an ION 2.
The value option package now available on the 2 includes the 16" alloys and 205/55 tires available on the 3.
The wheel well gap is huge and I believe lowering it approx 1.5" with a new spring set would do wonders for both handling and the look.
There appears to be a Eibach Pro-Kit spring that is a straight fit, no mods required- part #3898.140.
These are very popular with the VW and Audi drivers.
Please give feedback if you got any.
Thanks

Eibach is an excellent brand- I've owned their springs for several of my cars.

Definately get a front\rear alignment and get everything all set up so you're not tearing up tires every few months.
