Does anyone have any actual fact based prices (ie not speculation) on the Relays?

not yet. but looking on gm's media site i noticed the relay has a iron block, aluminum head pushrod 2-valves per cylinder 3.5L v6 making 200hp and 220ft-lbs, while the vue has an optional aluminum block and head, sohc 4v-per cyl 3.5L v6 that makes 250hp and 242ft-lbs.

The VUE's V6 is a Honda engine, the Relay's is from GM.
The Honda-GM (Isuzu) engine swap deal probably accounts for a V6 volume just right for the VUE. Since the Relay is a clone, GM would rather use their own engine because of its volume.

Last night I was on Saturn's website and entered to win a Relay, and under the contest rules, they said that the Relay that they were giving away was $28,000. But the option list was rather extensive.

Find the target price for a Venture and add $1500 bucks and then toss in a $3,500 rebate & zero finance. You should be able to get a nice one for about 24 out the door as the more modern competition sells a very competitive product for that out the door price.

What I am about to say is going to sound crazy to some. I think it would be a cool promotion for Saturn to give an additional 1-3K off a Relay to owners of S and L satuns who have 3 or more kids to get them to upgade to a Relay. What do you guys think about that idea? Do you think it would pursuade family oriented Saturn owners to upgrade to the Relay?

An owner loyalty discount similar to what Oldsmobile issued would be one way to increase sales numbers.
But unfortunately, Saturn would have to be dying and on it's way out for GM to ever go for it... (like Oldsmobile)

Shouldn't that qualify you?

Anyone know the prices of the Chevy, Pontiac and Buick version of the Relay. My wife has $3900 on her GM card and we are thinking about a minivan.
