Cam Cover Bolt = 89 IN lbs

Probably won't do it though... usually new gasket/well seals time.

Yeah, 23 was pretty close. 18-21.6 ft lbs per the maintenance thread and NGK's website.

The OP has the SOHC. The aluminum cover is held on with 2 Torx bolts and they are torqued to 22 ft-lb.

The valve cover is 22 ft-lb and the plugs are finger tight and then tighten till the gasket is crushed and starting to turn hard again. The mfgr thinks that they hold the head on and specs them at 18 to 20ft-lb which is a bit much. The valve cover probably needs a new gasket.

On mine, I used a thin coat of blue RTV sealant around the spark plug holes and it's holding fine so far.
The layer is only about "paint thick". Not much at all.
It was cheaper than buying a new gasket for small leak problem.

Wait for me to reprimanded before diving into that idea.
