2007 VUE 3.5L
Question did the a/c scroll valve fix - now VERY noisy?

Has anyone else experienced a marked increase in the noise level coming from the a/c compressor after the scroll valve fix? It fixed the 'no cold at idle' issue, but now it sounds like the damn thing is falling apart on the inside, with audible rattles as the revs fall. Even my spouse - who hears NOTHING most of the time including bad wheel bearings - mentioned it to me.

It's concerned me to the point that I'm hesitant to use the a/c now.

Any help would be appreciated.
