Default 97 sl1 freeway vibration...BAD

Yeah so i recently replaced the struts all the way around on this car and got an alignment done right after. I have newer tires on it.
I am getting really bad shaking at 70 MPH. It gets even worse if i go any faster that that. Just looking to see where i should start. The car has 260k on it. 5 speed manual. I have maintained her well but am not familiar with the front ends on these cars. The vibration does not seem to be side specific.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im going to get into it today.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

If it's just in the steering wheel it's either front tires or front axle out of balance. If it's in the seat/floor then it's usually the rear tires out of balance. I'd start with checking the front wheels for a missing weight, it'll be hard to spot if they haven't "worn in" but more likely to have gone flying if the shop didn't clamp them in properly.

The entire car shakes. And its violent and gets worse with speed. Ill check the tires right now and see if a weight fell off.

I should also probably mention that when i replaced the struts, i did NOT replace the coil springs or the bearings that were on the front struts. Idk why there are bearings on the top mount but they were in rough shape and i just left them in. I had that feeling like i should replace these too, but didnt.

It takes very little out of balance on a tire to shake the car like it is going to fly apart.

Both my SO and I have encountered snow load - probably only an ounce or two - cause extreme front end shaking.

Have your tires rechecked for balance.

Looks like all the balance weights are still on there. On the front tires they put them on the inside of the wheel. When i was verifying those i noticed grease had spun up and was on the wheel well. There is an accumilation of greese built up on the bottom of the new strut. Looks like the cv joint is smoked. Or something else????
