Default 2002 SL2 DRL light problems

So I got done with work and my battery was dead so I got a jump and got it running and then got home shut off the engine and the DLR wouldnt turn off on inspection I found my light case has a crack and there was some mositure in the case. So maybe that is my problem.

But then I pulled the DLR relay and one of the DLR's still stayed on so I pulled that lamp and the relay so neiter was on but now I dont have brights on my headlamps. When I pull the switch they entirely shut off and no lights at all! Dont know what to do. I asked my repair man and he said it could cost a bunch of money to track that down.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

The DRL's are, for some stupid reason, the high beams at 1/2 voltage. Tracking down electrical issues in the S-Series is extra fun because it's a ground switched system. Sounds like the headlight wiring chaffed and is now grounding to something all the time.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
