P0300 Random Set?
I've been searching the forum, but it seems most people that get the P0300 random misfire code are also getting other associated codes at the same time.
I've got a 2007 with 160,000+ miles on her. Timing chain was done about a year ago, and at the same time all the plugs were replaced with the recommended plugs since I had the engine out of the car at my mechanic's. Since then, the only issue the car's shown was a transfer control module for the AWD system, which since the car derated, it was replaced immediately.
Today, she randomly set P0300 (only this code), which I've cleared to see if it was a fluke. No noticeable issues before this and only the slightest vibration at idle while driving this morning just as it set the code. Should I look at an injector cleaning first? Or something else. I really don't have the money to hand it over to the dealer for a will not duplicate diagnostic failure.
