Found the bolts loose on my oil pan and tightened up the ones I could reach. I can't reach the ones on the passenger side of the motor. Anyone know if they can be reached if I pull the pass. side splash shield off? Or any other tricks I could try? Thanks.

yes you pull the splash shield off and also the crank pulley.
Put a 21 mm socket on a breaker bar, brace this on the ground under the bumper, then go in and turn the key to start a couple times. the starter will spin the crank bolt off. Also removing the top axis mount and jacking underneath the oil pan will buy you some space. If removing the oil pan you can put a chunk of 2x4 under the passenger lower dogbone for support instead. |
