Your MPG my raise about a mile or so..I didnt notice a real difference after I installed my short ram.
removal of the stock aribox is easy...just a few bolts nad it pull right out. Make sure you plug teh IAT sensor back in. Also, disconnect the negative side of the battery for 30minutes and then recconect it. Aftet you reconnect it, let your car idle for 5 minutes so the PCM can adjust to the change. |

your mileage may vary. if you're like me, you will rev the engine more to hear the intake noise from the short ram so your mileage will be worse

I just installed my AEM short ram about a month ago. Highway MPG may have gone up a little, but I haven't gone through enough tanks to say for sure. Just make sure you have a fairly long extension to get at the bolts on the stock airbox. Also, I had to push pretty hard to get the IAT sensor into the hole on the end of the filter; you'll probably want to put the sensor in before you attach the filter to the intake tube. Despite that, it was really easy, and I'm new to this stuff.
