Thought i would post this link

If the oil that gets sucked in through the PCV is your only problem then it will help. Usually the PCV is the least of your problems. Excessive blow by pressurizes the crankcase and forces oil through the PCV. Oil burned due to filed valve seals, and/or oil control rings are the major source of oil burned.

What would cause excessive blow by on the s-series models the coking problem?

Worn carbon fouled compression rings. No drain holes in the oil control ring grove resulting in stuck/clogged oil control rings. Old dried up valve seals. All 3 are the primary cause.
