wave plate issue
Double whammy this month my beloved 01 SC2 SE tranny went at 210k and my 07 Aura appears to have the wave plate failure.Bringing Aura to GM dealer this week hoping they do honorable thing car is past warranty time but not on mileage.Timing chain was replaced last year past warranty by GM.It appears there is a major design flaw in the transmission the wave plate used in 07,08and early 09 was failing due to bad design creating breakage and damaging transmission.GM had extended timing chain warranty due to failure,hoping they make this right.
