Searching for "2004 Saturn Ion Coupe color names," I clicked on images and stumbled upon what I believe to be the correct name for the color: Electric Lime. As to how one would ascertain the number of Ion Coupes sold with that color, I have no idea. Perhaps you could query a motor vehicle department near you and, knowing which digit on the VIN might indicate the exterior color - if indeed such a designation is present there - they might be able to go through a data base and search out other Coupes to see if they match yours relative to that information. But this is only a guess. It's possible that you'll be told that they cannot do that type of a search out of privacy concerns...who knows?

^That's not a surprise. It's probably found on a sticker inside the spare tire wheel well, somewhere else in the trunk, or perhaps even the glove box. Another color name I saw that was more generic was Lime Green. I think that getting actual numerical data for the number of Ions with this color will be unlikely at best (but that's just an opinion). Another avenue one could pursue might be through GM's website, but still, I wouldn't get my hopes up (another opinion). To the best of my recollection, I can't recall having seen that color on a Saturn vehicle here in Southern CA.

There's a Quad here in town in that color with an 05-07 sedan front clip.

Default Re: What color is this called and how rare is it?

For what it's worth, I've seen only one in this color, and it was a coupe.

I live in a major metro area (DFW), and spend 6-10 hours a day behind the wheel 5 days a week.
