Saturn S Dirt track setup
Hi guys, been all saturn since i was 16. 15 oof them in the yard including my first one. Crazy yes, lol. I figure i should start racing them.
I setup a 98sc1 chassis with a dohc and a mp2(phantom grip) that im running the season with. The beginning of the year i was running front of the pack on a very sand based 1/4 track. Now they have brought in alot of clay and i am having a hell of a time getting her loose. Im running front stagger with 1.3" difference and some rubber bump stops in right rear. Also front right camber at roughly 2-3 degress. Aluminum factory rims. Front sohc sway , no rear sway.
Looking for any advice on dirt setups. This is my first year and im the only saturn in my class. Other than motor, rules are fairly open. Ive got 2nd and 3rd the first month but have since fallen off the pace since the clay. Car keeps up and pulls on the straights but gettin destroyed on the turns. Running thru rear hubs like crazy left and right. Got a safety hub for rr coming. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you -adam
