2005 RELAY-2
Default Extreme Hybrid Vue - 150 MPG

AFS showed off their XH-150 (a pair of modified Saturn Greenline Vues) for the week leading up to Earth Day. They were in Washington, D.C. with it and showed it off to members of the press and Congress.

Check out the KTBC (Austin, TX) video. It's Extreme Mode is a parallel hybrid--meaning both the electric and the gas motor are driving the wheels. 370 HP and 68 MPG in Extreme Mode.

This weekend, they are introducing Extreme Fleet at the 2008 NAFA Institute and Expo. They are hoping to persuade fleet owners that 150 MPG SUVs and 250 MPG sedans might be of interest to fleets.

More impressive that Extreme Mode, for me, is EV mode. 40 mile range, 0 to 60 faster than the factory Greenline Vue, and up to 86 MPH. All electric.
