Default Reasons why I love SaturnFans - 70 people on at 2:30 am

Besides all the great help and technical information there are many reasons why I love this forum, and probably one of the most impressive is that no matter what time of the day or night, there are always a lot of people here. It's 2:30 am on a Wednesday night and there are 70 people on the S-Series forums!

Another reason is that there are over 1,000,000 posts on the S-Series, which I use as bragging rights when someone tries to give me a hard time for owning a 2001 car.

What are your favorite things about this forum?

and a lot of those million posts were answers to problems.
so many helpful people here over the years.
I think the fact that people still keep their Saturns going shows that GM really screwed up when they killed the brand.

Having been on the Aveo forums, thankfully there are lots of answers for Saturn's - specifically the S series. This isn't the case with GM's successor's when it comes to the compact/subcompact segments on those forums.

And not only are we over 1,000,000 posts, we have 99,190 threads as of 10/8/2020, so soon we'll have even more bragging rights! I'm involved in some other forums on different subjects that have been around for many years, but none of them get the usage that this one does.

One other reason I love it here is that the tone remains civil, and there are no dumb questions.

I love the wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful SF members, and the fact that no matter what time, someone (or several someones) is around to help. And of course, I love that there are so many other Saturn lovers out there!

Of course, there's the possibility that most of us oldsters just simply fell asleep on the couch, at 8:30pm, with saturnfans open in our browsers, only to wake up in a puddle of drool the next morning

This - everyone remains civil when someone asks a "simple" question, or one that has been asked over and over before

some places are quite mean to n00bs
