2003 L-Series 3.0L Wagon
2008 SKY Red Line
Default Top Oil Filler Cap P/N

Went to change the oil today and the top cap is loose and barely stays on. Does anyone have the P/N for this yelow cap?

Yes, but that opens another question. Item 12 on that same page shows to be some type of oil cap seal, like a rubber O-ring. I'm not seeing one of those on my cap. maybe that's why mine seems to fit loosely.

I went out and removed my oil cap. There's an O-ring on it. If you can't wait for a replacement, maybe Home Depot/Lowes/NAPA/whatever store stocking large diameter O-rings may be suitable.

Yes, that's very likely. Without the O-ring seal on the oil filler cap there is no seal of any kind at that opening on the valve cover. Have seen any evidence that oil may have been leaking past the oil cap on the valve cover?

There are, of course, good aftermarket replacement caps from Gates or Stant.
