Engine rebuild kits?
Alright I am just curious and have a few questions.
1. Who sells engine rebuild kits for 97 Sl1? Autozone only sells the re-ring kits. 2. Cheapest place to buy short blocks/long blocks? Thanks.

I have been looking for the same info. I posted a thread last night about whether to rebuild or replace. There is a rebuild kit on Ebay, but I haven't seen many opinions as far as the quality goes. I spoke with my local parts guy friend (locally owned store, not a chain). He thought that he could help me out, but thought that he would just order it by pieces. We didn't get into price yet. I will be watching both threads. Good luck.

I don't know specifically for the Saturn 1.9. What I do know is stick with name brand stuff like Sealed-Power, Federal Mogul, Spicer, Clevite, Hastings, etc. Don't buy no name crap on ebay just because it is cheap.
