is there a way to adjust how long the headlights stay on for after I turn off the ignition?

yes and no. if you feel like altering circuitry in the auto headlight system, you can, but you would need to have schematics and feel comfortable messing with the module.

not quite the answer I was hoping for. I know some cars have the option (I think ford or GM) to set if or how long they stay on. You have to press certain buttons with the key in the ignition and hold them for 5 seconds or something like that. I was hoping my ion would have the same option. I like that the lights stay on, I just wish it was for more than ten seconds. by the time i get to the door, everything goes black and I have trouble finding the right key.
Would anyone know where to get such information on the circuitry? |
