Default Block fitting

I'm about to put a knew o ring in the block fitting. Does anyone know if there's a gasket as well or just the o ring?

Default Re: Block fitting

Nope. nothing more. With metal to metal mating and a flexible seal for sealing against coolant leaks, a few things should be kept in mind when reassembling. Both surfaces are clean and free of corrosion, the groove for the seal should be free of corrosion and both metal parts that mate should be flat to allow the seal to work. Corrosion that builds up can interfere with mating surfaces leading to less than an ideal seal.
