Power Steering Pump Pressure Hose Removal
Today I decided to take on the replacement of my leaking power steering pressure hose, but when I came to loosening the bolts on the rack I did not have the correct tool. I read something where Old Nuc suggested using a 6 point open end wrench, well I may have something else that my Saturn mechanic ( when Saturn was in operation) gave me, a crowfoot wrench 18 mm. It fits perfectly over the replacement hose nut,so tomorrow I will try it out to see if this application works. In the meantime he also told me that when I loosen the return hose to pour p/s fluid down from the top and when it starts coming out clean you wouls have removed all the gunk on the bottom of the pump.Any input on this topic would be appreciated, and I will let u know how I make out.

18mm crow foot/ brake line wrench is what you need. Pretty much this thing here.
Don't forget the PB Blaster or whatever penetrating fluid you like the best that isn't WD40
Not sure about the cleaning out the gunk part, doesn't sound like a bad idea...just never thought to try it.
The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)
