in my area, at least, i see a lot of saturns with left wing and anti-war bumper stickers, so my guess would be Obama.

and, no, it wouldn't. (unless the other candidate drives a hummer or ricer.....)

I can't see either of them driving a Saturn now. Looking back at what either of them may have drove before they were involved in politics, I would definitely say Obama. Looking at this, http://www.corvetteblog.com/archives...tte-owner.html , McCain's first car was a '58 Corvette and Obama's was a Ford Granada, so I rest my case.

In his youth McCain was a pilot, thus the 'vette - it is probably the most common car owned by young navy pilots who fly off Carriers, especially if you go back to teh Viet Nam war years. Now, with his legacy war injuries, he would be more interested in something much more comfortable and easier to enter/exit.

I believe that Obama would be more of a Volvo-type person considering the statement it makes.

Neither would likely be a Saturn person.

Of course it would. Because it would be a poor decision on their part. So I'd vote for the other guy.

I think this is more of a question about what kind of people are we, that drive Saturns, rather which candidate would drive a Saturn. Maybe not intentional, but that's the subtext as far as I can see.

That said, I think Obama would drive the Saturn. He was talking about auto maker's hands being forced to build fuel efficient cars, while McCain was talking about offshore drilling to relieve our dependence on foreign oil. I did find McCain's statement funny, when he said that Saudi and Venezuelan oil was bad, and Canadian oil is good. Almost like the point that Michael Moore was making in Bowling for Columbine, about the African bees being more aggressive than the docile North American bees.

On the subject of there being more candidates than Obama and McCain, we all know that. The truth of the matter is, though, we really do live under a two party system. The way it's set up, nobody else but the Dem and Rep candidates stand a chance. I think the best one can hope for, is getting enough recognition to work his/her way into one of the two parties.

Neither would.

B’rak (H-word) O’Bamma might drive one if he could fool the Sheeple by doing so.

McKane would ask why he couldn’t drive a car he wanted to drive.

If I caught either of these successful men driving an economy car, I’d consider it pandering.

Successful people should not have to hide their success….unless they were propagating their Socialist/Marxist philosophy in pursuit of pure raw POWER.

McKane = Soft core Socialism/Feminism.

O’Bamma = Fifth Column, indigenous enemy within, counter-culture revolutionary, New Left, hippie free love, anti-American, anti-military, anti-War-on-Terror, Marxist-inspired, Looming American Matriarchy.

ahahahaha.... that's great. But seriously, are you really posting this thread? and are people really responding to this? Being that both of them are disgustingly rich, I am going to say, if they bought a saturn it would be so they could blow it up and make it look like they were saving some poor person from a burning vehicle for one of their ads. To appeal to poor people.

If someone "GAVE" Mcain a Sky V-8, he would drive it. would I want to be on the road with him? NO!! Obama would probably drive a VUE, for picture purposes only. Seriously, If I could afford Whatever I wanted to drive, Lets go back to 1966-1969! NUF said! As for voting. The type of vehicle they drive would only concern me if they were looking to do away with the ICE!!!!

Nope, he now drive a Ford Escape hybrid. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/13/o...escape-hybrid/

You want to talk hypocrite (maybe that's the wrong word, perhaps LIAR/PANDERER is better)? McCain: "I've bought American literally all my life." Not true. Of the astounding 13 cars (with his 7 houses) that he owns, 4 of them are FOREIGN. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/0..._n_128577.html

This thread is really blurring the line between the "S-Series General" and the "Politics" forums.

It just supports what an inconsistent flip-flopper obama is. You cannot trust a single thing he says. We'll all be living in projects is obama gets his dream.

You want to talk flip flops? We'll talk flip flops. Here's 61 McCain flip flops: http://www.alternet.org/election08/90956/?page=entire
