Anything in the Houston, TX area?

I've looked a Houston Saturn club listed on many websites, but the url is bad and it always just brings me to Saturn of Houton SW Freeway's website. That's where I bring my car for service. For some reason If they're the one's running the club that would suck. I just don't trust a dealership for things like that..

Anyone know about this group or another one? If not, anyone interested in starting one?

I forgot about them. They don't have any members with L-Series either. The only reason I never contacted them is because my car is quite fit for racing, so I didn't want to get in over my head. I have a few mods, but it's not enough to take on the track IMO and I don't think I'll be investing the money for the major upgrades.

Maybe I'll contact them anyway though.

You dont have to race man. They have plenty of people that are all show. 'Sides, Im pretty sure theyd be happy just to have another member. Add a little diversity.

As that i am a serg member and actually one of the oldest members you dont have to race....or even show. All that we ask is that you support the people the do either one. We do have local meets and we also have some dealership shows and to tell ya the truth not everyones car is show worthy that is in our club. Some people have the desire to fix up there car whether it is for show or go....it is your choice. Hey man. Thanks for the info. I will probably get in touch with you or one of the Houston people listed on the site. My car isn't quite show or race quality, but I would certainly support the others in the group. I'm still debating on bringing it to a competition level - be it show or race. I'm not sure if I want to invest the time and money that it would require. You can check my car out at http://www.cardomain.com/id/swzine/ to see if you think it is worthy of TX SERG. I noticed on the SERG site that there aren't too many sedans and no L-Series. However, I also noticed that the member cars on there had a lot more in them then mine, so I never bothered to contact anyone.

That might be pretty cool. My g/f and I head out to Katy every now and then to go to Jillians. It's a lot less busy than the Houston one. What kind of places do you hang out at around here?

We moved to the area about a year ago. Since both of us are out of school we basically only know the people we work with. Gotta meet some cooler people down here.

I'll be going to a car meet in Katy on Friday if anyone wants to meet me up there. It's called The Pizza Place; it's on Westheimer Parkway and Fry Rd behind the Eckards. The meet starts about 8:30-9pm and lasts till 11pm I think.
