Saturn Techs (at least in Ontario) do the EXACT same GM ASEP training as the Goodwrench Techs. The only difference is their experience with the cars and product specific follow up training, which always differs with the brands anyways.

I know, I wasn't trying to make a point against you, just another point along those lines. There's no reason that they can't swap the work.

I agree about the fee. Thankfully however furniture stores and other sellers of big ticket items don't set their cap at $2500. It probably has something to do with the relatively low mark-up on new cars and the fact that car dealers often offer company owned sources of credit or work closely with other financial entities that have relationships with the dealers.

Finally! I've been saying for years that it made no sense to exclude Saturn from the GM Card program. This is great news, and I hope that it's permanent.

I, too, am wondering about those of us with the classic blue GM Card...I've had mine since '95 and used earning's twice, including in '03 when Saturn accepted earning's for a brief time. I'll be done paying for my Vue next year and will be looking not long after that. I should have right at $3K in earnings by the time I'm ready and if Saturn accepts my earnings on an Outlook, that will make the difference on if I buy an Outlook or the Chevy version that should be out by then.
