I've got eurolite plasma bulbs, but I'm gonna go ahead and buy the silverstars, only b/c they come so highly recommended by everyone I know with a saturn.

I have the Silverstars now as well, they are much brighter, since we have two IONs we could do a side by side comparison,

but they are not that blue type light you see on the Euros.

I *assume* "silverstar" is just the name on the packaging of the bulbs only, not a completely new headlamp installation, correct?

Question :: If the bulb part number is 9007

... what is the part number for the fog lights in a '04 QC (ION-3)

I'm wanting to put the blue's in, but don't want the headlights blue, and the foglights still white.

-thanks

Speaking of lamps, has anyone found a good place to buy the turn signal lamps? I can find similar 12VDC lamps, but I cannot find the exact lamp anywhere other than Saturn - and they have a TOTAL RIPOFF price. Everywhere else that I look has a similar lamp, but the amber color is a bit lighter. I can't find a perfect match. Lamp is a Wagner 5702KA. Nobody lists it online. Maybe it's a new product?

Which signals you looking for? front or rear?

I got a replacement from WalMart & I can get the p/n when I get home tonite. Price was like $2.76 for a pair, I think.

You're right, it is unnecessary cuz it should be common sense to check for yourself, then ask if you are unable to find it.

I'm talking about the front lamps. I haven't checked Wal-Mart, but several auto parts stores didn't seem to carry them. Some couldn't even find them in their computer.

I agree. It's not that hard to do. Though, mentioning it doesn't change anything. I can also imagine someone just wanting to know and thinking, "I can find out at Satunalia," instead of thinking of their manual first.

Besides, it takes a certain type of person to read a manual without falling asleep . That's why there are "RTFM" mugs and T-shirts out there. In the end it's really not worth fretting about. People all think in different directions and there's nothing to do about it.

I had the same problem; I tried FOUR bulbs from Auto Zone before I gave up and went to the dealer. They replaced mine under warrantee, anyway.

Because the Internet is so much more reliable than a Copyrighted printed manual right from the factory!

Actually, at the time of my asking, I was quite ill and it was pretty cold outside ... so I didn't want to go out ...

I just figured that since I was online and needed to know, I would ask then ... now I'm sorry I did!

Anyhow ... I was feeling better today, so yes, I did get out and while I was in my car I managed to look at that thick book in the glove box ... and what do you know! I found out what I needed!

-thanks!
